Printmaking

This term our maths focus is printmaking. We used the stencil process. Printmaking is an artistic way of printing a photo  on to a texture. We created a simple photo that we then sketched and copied four times. We then copied that onto our picec of nuetral coloured lino by placing the sketch onto the lino and pressing hard with the pen. Then we went over it a few times to really get the ink on it. Went in with the lino cutters to cut out parts of the lino that we no longer need. I am still up to this process. I will show the finished product when  finished. Here is my work so far.

  1. Hi Sophia,

Thank you for your description of the process you have gone through so far. I'm looking forward to you pulling the whole process together into a pop art style.
