Reflection For Zealandia

We were learning about places in Wellington, because we are going there for camp this year. The topics were Te papa, Wellington Zoo, Weta Caves and Zealandia.We had to work collaboratively with our groups to create a poster of some sort. My group's topic was Zealandia. I found it easy to link it to our cyber learning by using Google Drawings. I found it hard to fit all of the information onto the poster with out it looking squashed. I really enjoyed finding the information and learning lots along the way. Next time I need to put websites words into my own to provide full information. I look forward to learn more about Zealandia when we go on camp.

What I look Forward To When We Go To Zealandia.

In term 4 2018, my class, Room 4, are going to camp in Wellington. It will be my first time in Wellington. I am really looking forward to going to Zealandia because I want to see all of the Reptiles and birds. It will be an amazing trip checking out the luxury sanctuary. I haven't seen a live reptile before. It will be interesting learning what breeds and species of birds, reptiles and amphibians they have there. I hope I see a huge bird, to ride over the high pest free fences of Zealandia.

 It will be fun to check out the many walks Zealandia provides, Zealandia by day, Zealandia kid walks, and Twilight Tours. I am excited about what Zealandia will look like. If it will be bigger than I thought or smaller. I am excited to learn more about the journey zealandia has been through. Out of all of the places we are going in wellington on camp, Zealandia is the one I look forward to the most, because it is an eco-sanctuary. So all animals are in a pest free area, but are still in their natural habitat.

 It will be an exciting experience, flying away in a world of my own, to discover Zealandia's animals. I havent really seen lots of different species of birds before, so this will be a great time to learn about birds. I can't wait to learn more about Zealandia. I hope that birds perch on my shoulders like in movies. I cant wait to check out the reptiles of all colours and sizes. I have enjoyed researching and learning about Zealandia, and am very excited to find out more at our camp.

• I really enjoyed using Google Drawings to create a poster full of information.
• Next time I need learn how to embed this onto to my blog.
